Résumé : | This is an overview of the VET system in Slovenia. Information is presented according to the following themes : 1. External factors influencing VET : population and demographics ; structure of labour force ; degree of regulation of the labour market ; mismatches on the labour market ; degree of regulation of access to occupations. 2. Providing vocational education and training in a lifelong learning perspective : diagram of the national education and training system ; government regulated VET provision ; other forms of training. 3. Shaping VET qualifications : the procedure for the preparation of VET qualifications ; the involvement of the stakeholders ; occupational standards - learning outcomes ; recognition of non-formal learning. 4.
